UTAR University Volunteering

Community service is a mandatory course in UTAR university where students need to spend certain hours doing volunteer work of their own choosing.
The student volunteers from UTAR university have decided to help out in our shelter as part of their community service.

They made our shelter much cleaner by cleaning the fans, cleaning out the drains by taking out all the fallen leaves, cleaning and reorganising our medicine cabinet. On top of that these enthusiastic students helped Uncle Vin in his everyday tasks as well.
They cleaned the floor, helped feeding the dogs and also washed the dishes.
When we asked them about their experience in uncle Vin’s dog shelter, they replied:

“The chores are tiring but we enjoyed playing with the dogs as they are so adorable”.

We would like to give our sincere appreciation and gratitude to our volunteers and we truly hope they visit us more often, as every dog lover is warmly welcomed in our shelter.
